To the right is an aerial photo of the airport region. Waterford Aero Club has become easier to access due to the new airport road. This road has been open since July 2008.

Coming from Cork (West)
Take the 3rd exit at the Butlerstown Roundabout when entering Waterford. Take the second exit straight at the next 4 roundabouts. When you reach the Airport Road Roundabout, take the 3rd exit right onto the Airport Road. Continue straight untill you come to the Whittles Cross Roundabout. Take the second exit straight and the airport is 2 miles ahead.

Coming from Dublin (North & East)
Cross over the Bridge upon arrival to Waterford City. Take the left turn immediately after the bridge. When you reach the end of the quays the road veers right. Follow the road signposted to Cork. Continue straight past the Waterford Crystal and the Waterford Institute of Technology. Aproximately 2 miles out you will reach the Butlerstown Roundabout. Take the 2nd exit left at the roundabout and pass the next 4 roundabouts until you reach the Airport Rd Roundabout. Continue straight until you come to the Whittles Cross Roundabout. Take the second exit straight and the airport is 2 miles ahead.

Permission should be sought from the Airport Operations Duty Supervisor.
