The Night Rating is an extremely popular addition to your license because it is very straighforward and there is no flight examination at the end. The course requires you to do 3 hours of flying with an instructor and at least 2 hours of solo flight. During your solo flights, you must complete a cross-country flight. When your instructor is satisfied by your night flying, he or she will endorse your license with the rating.
We offer the Night Rating course using our Piper Warrior either on a pay-as-you-fly basis or as part of a discounted hour block if you wish to prepare for your Commercial Pilot License course. The Warrior is the perfect aircraft for this course as it is equiped with full panel lighting, modern touring instruments and is both fast and economical.
