Welcome to Waterford Aero Club!
Waterford Aero Club was founded in 1982 with the aim of bringing people with an interest in aviation and create a vehicle to expand that interest and provide flight training. The club is registered with the Irish Aviation Authority as a Registered Training Facility and can conduct training to a private pilot standard. We offer Night Ratings and Single Engine Piston Ratings for a Private Pilots Licence. The facility is set in the heart of Waterford Airport and comprises of catering facilities, briefing areas and extensive hangerage.

The club has approximately 120 members of whom 40 are training. The Club Recently secured a deal with Tecnam Aircraft Construction for 2 brand new Tecnam P2002JF Aircraft. Both aircraft, after arriving during the summer of 2008, have proved a success with both students and PPL's due to their fuel economy and flight characteristics. The club still operates its Piper Warrior for touring and training. The club has 4 instructors - 3 of whom are full time. Flight training takes place 7 days a week and visitors are always welcome. This Gift Voucher costs only €95 and entitles the holder to 30 minutes flying time in one of the clubs' aircraft.
