In light of poor weather, we have taken the decision to postpone our fly-in, scheduled to take place tomorrow, July 17th, until August. We regret this choice but we hope that the weather will be kinder to us in the later summer! Please note that, for club members and friends, the BBQ will still take place tomorrow at noon. Come along to say hello, chat to fellow fliers and eat lots and lots of food! |
The 2010 Waterford Aero Club Fly-In & BBQ

Waterford Aero Club are proud to announce their annual Fly-In & BBQ, taking place this summer in August (date to be confirmed). This is going to be a fantastic event! The fly-in commences on the Saturday, but aircraft will be more than welcome to come on the Friday for the weekend. Waterford Airport has waivered the Landing Fees again this year, so the event will be completely free. Please bring your own alcoholic beverages. Camping is permitted beside your aircraft on the club's ground. Just like last year, there will be prizes awarded for things like furthest travelled and most accurate ETA.
So to everyone, please come along, enjoy the beautiful sunny South East of Ireland - enjoy the craic, the music and the food, and talk aviation!
