Whether you want to build hours for the CPL or enjoy your license and visit new places, Waterford Aero Club offers some of the cheapest pay-as-you-fly rates in the country.

Hour-building is normally undertaken by holders of a Private Pilot Licence who intend on continuing their flight training, in particular for the Commercial Pilot Licence, or simply for consolidating all they may have learned throughout the PPL course. Either way, Waterford Aero Club can offer you the most affordable hour-building rates in Ireland, and perhaps this side of the Atlantic.

At Waterford Aero Club, you can choose to pay as you fly or buy a block of 20 hours in advance at an even more competitive rate. Go to the prices section for details.

With a modern fleet of Tecnam P2002 and Piper Warrior PA-28 aircraft, the most weather-friendly airport in Ireland, excellent in-house flight planning facilities, and our proximity to many busy airports, including Cork and Shannon, Waterford Aero Club is the ideal choice for your hour-building activities.

In addition, we can help you maximise your hour-building with a structured programme if required – this would ensure you fulfil any requirements for future licences or ratings.
